Jessica Davis is a store owner in Newport, RI. She has been in business for over twenty years. The last couple of years she has seen a dip in traffic to her store and overall revenue. She feels if she changes her merchandise this will create more traffic to the store. Jessica is in her fifties and has two children that are out of college, she is married, and doesn't have a plan for her future. She is afraid of change but loves the fashion industry which is ever changing. She does not have a website for her store but does have a Facebook. She posts rarely on social media but her children told her she needs one if she wants to be in business today. Jessica doesn't fully understand how this app could help her business and will continue to run her business as is.

This is a great persona!! If Jessica is following your beat then she stands a chance! The fact that she is not engaged on social media, with the exception of FB, presents you with all kinds of teaching opportunities. And, because she is in Newport, which is extremely seasonal, she really needs to do everything she can to attract customers when they're in town. Sounds like your app would make her store a 'preferred' shopping destination for those who use it. You need to help Jessica understand that! :)
